Can you answer q_t4e’s question about Scrapbooking?:
I want to make a posterboard of my boyfriends son and him, for Christmas I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas. I want to put lots of pictures on it but any ideas on how to lay it out so it looks right?

Scrapbooking Feedback: This is an excellent idea you have.
I would suggest choosing a theme for your posterboard layout. If you put pictures at random, you could end up with a disjointed appearance. You might choose a theme that is based on sports or a mutual activity that they enjoy, or a theme based on pictures from previous Christmases or birthdays, or pictures solely from the year 2008, etc. Then create a title based on the theme, and add your title using computer generated letters, stickers, or some other form of alphabets.
Attach your photographs collage style. This means there will be some overlap . Since you have chosen a theme, you can also add embellishments that work with the theme — stickers, small trinkets or ornaments, scraps of fabric (perhaps a denim pocket from an old pair of jeans, for example), masculine based ribbon or twine.
Just remember not to make it too girly. I have a post on my blog written by a male scrapbooker who addresses some of the mistakes that women make when scrapbooking for men.
