I'd tell you right off the bat that this column is about scrapbooking, but I don't want you to roll your eyes and assume I'm just another mom who cuts pictures of her kids into cheesy heart shapes and splatters them with bunny stickers.
I created a scrapbook for both sets of impending grandparents that started with various pictures of the family, us, the dog, our cats and ending with the treasured ultrasound. We traveled to each family and casually {as casually as possible}
Everybody has their list of people they admire. My favourite teacher in school insisted that we should all have ‘scrapbooks’ containing pictures of the men and women we thought were special. They had to be living heroes, she said, not people from history books.

However, choosing to scrapbook with your most up-to-date images first and work your approach back in time has a distinct advantage. These memories are the freshest in your mind. The older pictures get the more likely you might have already forgotten ...
